We decide to take a trip to MS to visit both sets of grandparents before Elijah's started back to school. We arrived late Wednesday night in Hazlehurst (where Byron's parents live) and spent the next 2 days there. On Friday, we rode to Hattiesburg to visit our where our alma mater- The University of Southern Mississippi. We haven't been back to visit in forever, so it was fun to check it out again. It has changed a lot a lot!
We were lucky enough to run into Seymour while we were there :)
If you look at the top of the building you can see it's missing shingles. A couple of months ago, a major tornado came through and hit the campus. There was a lot of damage done :( and it they are still working to repair things.

Later that afternoon, the boys had some fun with some silly string that Elijah got from Grandma.
The University of Southern Miss is still a pretty campus and it did suffer major damage from the storm. Glad that you all got to see it and that Elijah was able to get photo with Seymour. Silly string looks like a lot of fun for all. Elijah Nana and papaw love you.
