Trip to Oklahoma - A Day Trip to Lawton

On Saturday Aunt Barb and Uncle Robert wanted to take Elijah to Laugh Out Loud in Lawton,OK. It's a kid's place that is a combination of Chuck E Cheese & Gatti Town. Elijah had good time and we beat the crowd which made it very nice. Afterwards, we enjoyed some good BBQ at the Rib Crib.

First time for Elijah to bowl and he liked it! We are looking forward to taking him to a real bowling alley soon.

Trip to Oklahoma - Kiddeland Park

Last weekend we took at quick trip to Duncan, OK to see Byron's grandmother and his Aunt Barb. We wanted to go visit them before Elijah went back to school.

On the way to Duncan, we made a spop by Turner Falls.

When Byron was growing up his family would travle to Duncan often. When they were there they always went to Kiddleland Park. Last year when we went to Duncan to celebrate Mim's 90th birthday, Byron took Elijah to the Park for the first time. He liked it a lot so on this trip it was a must to take him back again.

Snapshots

Below are some snapshots from our recent trip to Mississippi

This is a rock that my parents have in their back yard. Elijah likes it because it looks like a chair & he can sit on it.

Playing basketball with his Pawpaw

Pawpaw and Elijah "cutting grass" - I hope that at 74 that I can get down like like this to play and still be able to get up like my Dad is able to.

Now it's Uncle Blake's turn to "cut the grass" with Elijah
Elijah likes to play down when he pretends to cut the grass so he can make sure the blades are staying down like they should. Oh how we love how this little boy thinks :)

 These two together = trouble!

  • Daddy 2 - both bass
  • Mommy 1- a bass)
Yes, the boys out fished me... but there is always next time.

Lawn Mowers and Tractors, Oh My!

Last week we went to Mississippi to visit both of our families before Elijah started school. Top on Elijah's list... lawn mowers and tractors. And yes, both of our parents live in the country so Elijah was enjoying every minute of it.

 Now some trailer time

Tractor time with Pawpaw (my Dad)
