Another Round of Random Pictures

The grapefruit was so big he kept dropping it while he was bringing it to me. The grapefruits produced from our tree are sweet so we have really been enjoying eating them.
Still wearing his pajamas from Pajama Day and breaking in his new rain boots
What is it about boys and boxes? :-)
Elijah decided that he needed to measure our pillow cases after seeing me measure his "special pillow" case. (His Nana is going to make him some new ones)
 Such a happy boy
Sledding suburb style - Never knew a lawn mower could have so many uses. :-)
He had a BLAST!
Elijah's thought = If the sled worked behind Daddy's lawn mower, it will work behind his too.

Downtown Aquarium

KBR (the company Byron works for) has several family days for their employees, throughout the year. This past Sunday, it was held at the Downtown Aquarium. We have never taken Elijah there, so after church we headed downtown to have lunch and some fun.

Our table had a good location = great view

He likes a lot of butter on his bread

1st prize he has ever won playing a carnival like game

 Doing silly eyes for Daddy
Enjoying a "little' cotton candy :)
Train ride to see the sharks
Having a blast playing in the water (at the end of our visit) and what a great way to cool down

Livestock Show and Carnival (Final Part)

Our final stop for the day was the midway. Elijah had the best time riding the rides! The cold weather didn't phase him at all.

Can you tell it was very windy?

This was Elijah's favorite ride. He liked it because the car bounced up and down & went high.
 Checking out the tires

He rode several other rides but I/we didn't get pictures of them.  We were too busy trying to say warm. He he!

Livestock Show and Carnival (Part 2)

And the fun continued ...

Elijah likes riding on his Daddy's shoulders because he says he can see more :-)

Lunch time- This boy loves nachos like his Mom!

 Planting his seeds

He could have played on the tractors, trucks, etc all day if we had let him

Livestock Show and Carnival (Part 1)

We are lucky that Byron is off every other Friday. So on his Fridays off we try to do something fun as a family. So this Friday we headed to the Livestock Show and Carnival. It was very cold (yes, we made sure Elijah had a coat but Mommy & Daddy forgot theirs) but we still have a lot of fun and the rain held off too. We were there 5 hours and Elijah did awesome!!

When we arrived we asked Elijah want he wanted to do first and he said immediately, "Pet the animals". So off we went ...

Look Mommy and Daddy, he ate it all!

This little guy thought Elijah's shirt tasted better than the food :-)
