Christmas Day 2015

Santa was very good to Elijah this year. He got everything he asked Santa for. Guess he really was a good kid in 2015 :)

 Snoopy

 Legos

 And a BB gun

He was so excited about this. And he ready to get to MS so he could shoot it in the "country"

Daddy starting to cook our yummy Christmas meal. This man can cook!

Christmas Eve 2015

Our Christmas Eve started off with attending the Christmas Eve service at our Church. Then on the way home we went and looked at Christmas lights. But as soon as we got home, Elijah was SO ready to open the gifts. So we let the unwrapping commence.

This year Byron had Elijah go on a scavenger hunt to find his first gift. Elijah thought it was so much fun. :)

 Found it!

Pretty sure he liked it. Ha!

Every year, Byron wraps someones gift in either box after box, or uses a lot of tape. Well, this year, Elijah thought it was pay back time for his Dad. So he did his magic on one of Byron's gift.

The box says "Byron Polk Proof"

Nana and Pawpaw (or as Elijah now calls him "Pops") got Elijah a basketball goal. Anyone ready for a little one-one-one?

Getting things ready for Santa

 Now, that is a presentation!

We are ready

View into our den from the back of our house.

Elijah put all of the light on his play fort by himself. No help from his Dad at all. Our boy is growing up!

And the Verdict Is?...

So, for Christmas 2015, Elijah was sent a video message from Santa. In the video, Santa lets Elijah know if he is on the nice or naughty list. Below is some of the pictures I was able to snap while he was watching the video with Byron.

 Fingers crossed

 Waiting...

...Yes! I am on the nice list.

Gingerbread House

This year Elijah wanted to create his gingerbread house by himself. So that is what he did! Byron and I think thought it was the best one, out of all the other ones, they had made over the years.
