Last Day in NYC

So our last day in NYC (July 1st) we went to the Top of the Rock to their observatory. This was the only day that it was cloudy and rained some.

Then we headed to Gulliver's Gate

After that we enjoyed a yummy lunch at Guy's American.
The food was very good.

 My Nachos

Oh, the damage I could have done in here... but I didn't 👏

 Saint Patrick's

And yet, some more new friends Elijah met  ☺

That evening I wasn't feeling well, so after dinner I went back to the room for the night. However, my boys kept the tradition of going to Time Square going and they also took the subway to different areas to check out other stuff. Thankfully I felt OK the next morning.

I would say that Elijah's first trip to NYC was a huge success. He keeps saying he misses it and wants to go back.

NYC- June 30th Night Time Celebrations

So for our anniversary dinner went to Chez Moi in Brooklyn.
We choose this restaurant because Mr. Otis, Elijah's buddy, son is the sous chef there.
We had a wonderful 27th anniversary dinner
The food, atmosphere, service, and Lawrence were the best!

 Escargot as an appetizer

 Grilled Salmon for me

 Braised Lamb for Byron

Happy 27th Wedding Anniversary Byron!
I love you now and forever 💓

So to end our anniversary celebration, we went to the Empire State Building observatory.
The views were so pretty at night.

What an amazing day and night we had!

Lunch Time!

So as we were leaving, we got to meet the owner of Lombardi's!
We have seen him many time on the Food Network and the Travel Channel.

It was as good as Byron and I remembered.
