The Children's Museum

Last Friday Elijah and I spent the morning at the Children's Museum of Houston. Every time Elijah has gone to the museum, he has had fun. But this particular time, he was willing to explore more, try new things & I could tell he was really having a blast! It was a good morning :)



  

My Parent's Visit

Last week my parents came in from Mississippi for a visit. It was nice to have them here especially with Byron being in Indonesia. This trip had already been planned when we learned Byron had to travel. We missed Byron being here with us but it was nice to see Elijah having so much fun!

Happy Fourth of July

We had a very nice Fourth of July filled with a lot of family time. We started the morning off with two hours at the pool. Later that evening we enjoyed a wonderful brisket that Byron had had cooking all day along plus other yummy food he had prepared. And of course, he had a wonderful assistant in the kitchen to help him...Elijah. That night we walked to the amphitheatre to enjoy the music and watch the fireworks. Elijah really enjoyed the fireworks!
