Last year Byron and I started our own special "over-night" get away with Elijah.
This year for Byron's and Elijah's turn, they started the day off at the zoo. That was followed by checking out Byron's new office.
Then they checked into the Crown Plaza Hotel in downtown Houston. While they were they they enjoyed room service (twice), a swim in the extremely cold pool, and a little exercise time.
The next morning was a bacon-eating contest at the restaurant in the hotel. This year Byron won. So the record is 1-1 at this time. :)
All in all, another successful guy's get away and great memories being made.

Elijah you are one lucky little guy that your parents can do so many different things with you. Always love them and be thankful. Nana and papaw love you Elijah.
