After opening presents, Elijah and I laid down to rest some. Well, not to long after laying down I got a call from Byron (he was on his way to HEB) telling us to look and see who is behind our house. There he was Diesel, the Houston Dynamo's mascot. He was there, along with a couple of Dynamo players, to help raise money at a lemonade stand for a little boy named Luke.
Luke, is a 4th grader from Sienna Crossing Elementary, who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer and now is starting intense radiation treatment. So some of his classmates organized this lemonade stand to help raise money for his family. So touching!
Even Nana got in on the action too
Even Nana got into this photo. It was good event that was being done with the selling of cookies and lemonade for a very worthy cause. Glad you got to be a part of this Elijah. Nana and papaw love you.
