Valentine's Day Party

Byron was off the Friday of the Valentine's party. So he not only attended the party, he worked the Bingo station at the party. I was able to go to the party for a few minutes. That is one of the perks of working where your son attends school.

Baseball Try Outs & Friends

Elijah had try outs 2 weekends ago and he did well. He actually did the best fielding he has ever done. And he was able to get one good hit as well.

We are thrilled that he was selected to on Coach Brendel's team again. This will be the third time Elijah has had him as a coach. The first two years he was the assistant coach and this year he is the head coach.

Last Friday I had over my friend/co-worker, Julia after school. She has a daughter named Abby who is in kinder at SCE.  Abby and Elijah had a BLAST playing in the hot tub! It was so nice to visit while hearing the kids laughing.

Happy New Year 2016!

 Me and my guy!

 Guess where we were?

Yes, Elijah actually sucked the head...Yuck!

Elijah helps out so much with the pool.
And I have to say that he is a pretty cute pool boy:)

Cub Scouts Activities

Elijah placed 2nd in his age division. We were very proud of him!

2nd Annual Mom and Son Get Away

This year Elijah and I stayed at the Marriott in Pearland for our "mother & son" get away. One big difference this year compared to last year is that we did it in the fall and not the summer. When we checked into the hotel, they upgraded us to a suite. Oh course, Elijah liked that. :)

I am happy that this is a tradition that we started last year. Love spending one-on-one time with my little guy!

Hot Chocolate to try and warm us up

I got Elijah some Lego's to do at the hotel

 Some of the final projects

Elijah has taken a liking to crawfish lately. So we had dinner at Fish City Grill and Elijah was thrilled when he saw they had crawfish. The boy ate 2 pounds...by himself!

Another great get away in the books.

Our Pool

Well, Byron and I have never given much thought about having a pool. But when you have a kid who loves the water and have the yard space...You get a pool. And Elijah is already in heaven with having one.

We are looking forward to many fun memories made here.
