Nations Baseball Metro State Tournament:

Elijah's first baseball tournament

Elijah received the game ball from the first game of 2 that they played on Saturday. He made a RBI and that is what won the game for his team. We were SO proud of him!! What made it even more special was that he got "his" game ball at a tournament game.

Blessed that Elijah is able to be a part of a team that finished the job and brought home the championship! And very thankful for our coach, who made sure that the 3 players,who weren't able to make the re-scheduled final tournament day, also received their trophies. Even though the boys weren't able to be there, they did help their team win both games on the first day and that wasn't forgotten in the end.Thanks David King!

Teacher Appreciation Week

During Teacher Appreciation Week, I was taken back by the thoughtfulness of students that I work with, as well as students that I don't. And, I even had a parent think of me as well. I felt so loved. SCE is the best!

A Change in Daddy's Car

Elijah has been saying lately that riding in the car seat with the back on it makes him feel like a baby. We know that that is still is the safest for him, but we decided to make his seat in Byron's car like a booster seat with no back.

Since they usually take Byron's car, when they go places on the weekend, and they typically don't go that far, we thought it would be OK. To say Elijah likes the change is an understatement.
