Picking time in the Garden

This year in our garden we planted Flying Saucer Squash for the first time. The pictures below of Elijah picking the first one.

Kid Fish 14

On the last Saturday of May, Elijah participated in Kid Fish 14. He didn't get to fish long because it started raining. Then the rain turned into a major downpour. By the time we got to the car, we were all soaked. But I have to say, Elijah didn't want to stop even when the rain got so heavy because he really wanted to catch a fish. :)

So what do you do after you are totally wet from the rain?
Play in the rain of course

Memorial Day Weekend - Conclusion

And the fun continues

 Tractor time

Helping Pawpaw do some prep work for dinner

 Feeding the brim some bread

 Coloring time with Nana

Elijah taking apart Pawpaw's fan that quit working

When it came time to clean the fish Byron and I weren't sure how Elijah would handle it (I still can't watch this being done to this day) But to our surprise Elijah was all in!

Getting ready to knock out the fish

Memorial Day Weekend - Part 1

For Memorial Day weekend we decided to go to Mississippi so Elijah could see both sets of grandparents. We left Thursday afternoon (after Byron got off work) and returned home on Tuesday. We had a good visit and Elijah had so much fun!

Helping his Daddy cut Granddaddy's yard
(Granddaddy is Byron's dad)

We were happy that we got to see Uncle Blake too

 Having some fun with bamboo

Final Day at Christ Church School

May 21st was Elijah's final day at Christ Church School and his final day of being a Pre-K student. He had a busy, yet fun, last day. Can't believe how fast time seems to be going by!

 Off to school...

  for his final day

Some happies form Mom and Dad

Surprised happies waiting in the car for him at the end of the day= big smile

Pre-K Graduation

It is so hard to believe that Elijah has graduated from Pre-K. Byron and I both experienced a range of emotions on this special night but being proud of our little guy is the one that stands out the most to us. Elijah had a wonderful 4 years at Christ Church School and we are beyond thankful for that. Look out kindergarten, here comes Elijah!

Looking super handsome for his big night!

On the way to the ceremony

I cried two times that night (and that  is good for me)
Once when Mrs. Beth gave the opening prayer and the other time was when he walked in.

Waiting to start their singing program

They did such a great job with all of their songs

Our Pre-K graduate
Thank you Mrs. Glore & Mrs. McBurnette for a wonderful year
