Egg Drop

The day before Easter First Baptist Church (Sienna) had a egg drop for kids. How? From a helicopter. It was very neat and there was a huge crowd.

 Elijah and Brayden waiting patiently

 Here is comes!

The first few eggs to hit the ground.
And there were a lot of eggs that opened on impact but the kids didn't mind.

Kinder Round-Up

As I am typing this, it brings tears to my eyes that our baby boy will be entering Kindergarten next year. Where has time gone? It is a big step for our entire family but we believe that Elijah is ready and that he will do great.

And their off to explore the kinder pod, rooms, as well as the library while we fill out many forms

It was a successful night

Our Baseball Player

Here is Elijah's Tball picture for this year. Guess he didn't hear me when I said not to pull down his hat so much because it would make his ears stand out. Ha Ha!  But we still think this is the cutest baseball player ever!!

Our Little Handy Man

For awhile now, I have been wanting to replace the doorknobs in our house. Well, this past Sunday, that is just what Elijah and Byron did. It started off with both of them working on this project but then Elijah took over and did it by himself. And as strange as it might sound to those of you reading this, he truly loved every single moment of it!!

Blue Bell...Yum!

On the way home from Chapel Hill, we surprised Elijah by stopping at the Blue Bell Creamery. He has been before but this was still a surprise he liked. Elijah really likes Blue Bell ice cream. His favorite is vanilla.

Byron and I were surprised when Elijah got a flavor other than vanilla. But I think you can tell by his smile, that Cookies & Cream is pretty tasty too.

Chapel Hill - Bluebonnet Time

Last Saturday we drove to Chapel Hill to check out the wildflowers. They were gorgeous and abundant this year. All 3 of us agreed this was the prettiest the flowers have has been in years. We were also very fortunate that the weather worked to our favor because it was suppose to rain, but it didn't.

Oh course, you have to have a silly picture too :)
