Christmas Eve (Part 1)

Putting out lights to make a runway for the reindeer's

Elijah helping his Daddy make a pecan pie.

This was Byron's first time to make a pecan pie and it turned out good. The pecans came from a tree in our backyard.

 Adding some finishing touches

Now it's time to put our the reindeer dust

Making sure he gets it all put out

 One happy boy

Cookies for Santa 2012

And queso for Elijah and Mommy

And of course, there is always time to work on lights :)

Christmas Eve Service

On Christmas Eve we attended the early service (3:00) at our church. Every boy in attendance could either be a king or a sheppard, and all the girls could be angels. As you can see from the picture below Elijah choose to be a sheppard.

Working on Lights ...Again & Again

Well, we have been through 2 obsessions/fixations with Elijah. First being ceiling fans then lawn mowers/cutting grass. Now his new thing? Christmas lights! Not just looking at them, no, that would be too easy. Instead, he wants to decorate and move them around constantly. So we bought him several strands of his own lights and let him do whatever he wanted to do. Oh course, we make sure that the power is off when he was working. :)

His play set (aka his fort) is just one of the many places he added lights.

Oh course after all of that hard work, it was time for a dinner break

Puddle Fun

After the big rain we had on Sunday, we had water standing in our yard (this was the first time this is ever happened) so Elijah went out to have some fun.

Dancing Machine

The other night some spontaneous dancing took place :) Love moments like this!
