SCE Field Day

June 1st, was SCE's Field Day. This was Elijah's first field day and he had a blast! He said it was the best day ever. :) I am thankful that the school administrators allowed me to go and watch him have fun.

Kindergarten Program and Awards

Friday, May 29th, was a very big day for Elijah. He had his Kindergarten music program and awards ceremony! I was worried about it being a very emotional day for me, but I actually didn't cry... but of course, I teared up. 

 We were able to have a picnic lunch with our kindergators that day as well.

The program was SO cute and the kids did an amazing job!

All the songs were so sweet.

 Elijah insisted on wearing a tie for this day.

Nations Baseball Metro State Tournament:

Elijah's first baseball tournament

Elijah received the game ball from the first game of 2 that they played on Saturday. He made a RBI and that is what won the game for his team. We were SO proud of him!! What made it even more special was that he got "his" game ball at a tournament game.

Blessed that Elijah is able to be a part of a team that finished the job and brought home the championship! And very thankful for our coach, who made sure that the 3 players,who weren't able to make the re-scheduled final tournament day, also received their trophies. Even though the boys weren't able to be there, they did help their team win both games on the first day and that wasn't forgotten in the end.Thanks David King!

Teacher Appreciation Week

During Teacher Appreciation Week, I was taken back by the thoughtfulness of students that I work with, as well as students that I don't. And, I even had a parent think of me as well. I felt so loved. SCE is the best!
