At 4:44 on November 21, 2008 this miracle was born! It is so hard for us to believe that he is now 7 years old. Time needs to slow down. Elijah, mommy and daddy love you more than we can ever express to you in words. You completed our lives and our hearts. We thank God for you every day!

Byron added the lights to the bow, and of course, Elijah liked it a lot.

Elijah wanted to go to Bravos for his birthday lunch. He LOVES their green dip!

Side Note: This year for Elijah's birthday, things didn't go like we had planned. The night before, Byron broke his ankle. So on Saturday, he was in a lot of pain and needed to stay off his foot. But we both were amazed by Elijah's great attitude that day. He kept smiling, doing his thing, didn't complain and helped take care of his Daddy. We are truly blessed to have a kid with such a caring heart.
Sorry about Byron's ankle, but it looks like the show went on and Elijah enjoyed his birthday really good. Nana and papaw love you Elijah.
