The next morning we all slept in and it was so nice! We were at the river when it opened. We had planned on only staying a few hours and then leave to explore the historic downtown of Grapevine. But instead we stayed at the river for 6 hours because we were having so much fun (especially Elijah). Not a bad way at all to spend our anniversary "day".

Twenty three years and what a journey it has been!
Note: Most married couples wouldn't necessarily desire their child/children to go with them on their anniversary trips/get-a-ways. But we had 19 anniversaries with just the two of us. So, when we had Elijah it was our desire for him to be a part of the celebrations from then on. Or until he thinks it isn't cool to hang out with his parents. :)
I think that Elijah really completed the anniversary. He always has so much fun and told me he loved floating the river. All the pictures are good and you all look like a happy family. May god bless you always. Elijah Nana and papaw love you to the moon and back.
